Horse Park of New Jersey Dressage Schooling Show & ESDCTA Dressage Championship 2011: Topinka Nunn Dressage congratulates Lorene Wright, Bonnie Halka, and Melissa Reese on their performances this weekend. Saturday's schooling show brought lots of smiles and high scores to all three competitors. Lorene earned two blue ribbons, winning both Introductory Level Test C and Training Level Test 1 with Gentlemen's Bett. Bonnie won many honors with Lucy, taking first place in both Training Level Test 2 and Training Level Test 3, making the pair Training Level High Score Champions. Bonnie also made her Third Level debut with Florina, winning the class her first time out at Third Level Test 2. Melissa successfully completed two exemplary First Level tests with Pirueta del Sol, earning scores up to 68% and winning First Level Test 2. Sunday's championship show brought more ribbons to the Topinka Nunn Dressage team. Lorene and Gentlemen's Bett finished 4th in their championship class after completing Introductory Level Test C and Training Level Test 1. Melissa and Pirueta del Sol also earned a 4th place finish in the First Level Championship. Melissa was also Reserve Champion for FEI Test of Choice, earning a final average score of 66% at Intermediate 1 with Witster Bratbjerg. Melissa was the only rider in the class to compete at Intermediate 1. All other competitors rode Prix St. Georges. September 17-18, 2011
Dressage at Stone Tavern 2011: Melissa Reese proudly earned scores of 62% and 64% at Intermediate 1 this weekend at the Horse Park of New Jersey's recognized dressage show. September 2-4, 2011
Dressage at the Park 2011: Congratulations to Bonnie Halka on successfully completing three Second Level tests at the Horse Park of New Jersey. Bonnie won two of her classes and finished second in the other. Topinka Nunn Dressage also congratulates Melissa Reese on earning scores of 62% in both Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I. Young Rider Olympic Dream Program 2011: Topinka Nunn Dressage congratulates Melissa Reese on her selection as the first alternate for the Dressage Foundation's Young Rider Olympic Dream Program 2011. This educational program is for dressage riders age 22 and under who are competing at Fourth Level and above. The program gives four dedicated young riders from the United States the opportunity to travel to Germany for ten days to gain exposure to top European trainers, riders, facilities, and events. The purpose of this program is to educate and inspire young riders to contribute to and improve the sport of dressage. June 27, 2011
ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Dressage Show 2011: Congratulations to Melissa Reese and Bonnie Halka on their impressive results at the Memorial Day Weekend show at the Horse Park of New Jersey. Melissa scored a 63% at Prix St. Georges. Bonnie earned scores of 61% at Second Level Test 2 and 63% at Second Level Test 3, and was also the Adult Amature High Score Champion for Second Level.
