About Us:
Jaime was born and raised in New Jersey and as a
child showed a strong interest in horses.
She started riding at the age of 7 and
shortly after she began dressage became her main
focus.
At a young age Jaime had many opportunities to ride
with Olympic competitors and USEF "S" judges and made the
most of those opportunities.
She made her way up through the levels as a
working student first working for Gail Carmona.
With Gail, she gained her experience with
young horses, which included in-hand training,
backing and dressage training, as well as giving
these youngsters their first show experience.
She built on this experience when she moved
on to work for Michael Barisone, where she trained
and showed upper level horses to Intermediate I.
Jaime now has her
own thriving business in New Jersey teaching and
training.
In the short time she’s been in business, she
has gained many happy clients.
She has taken beginners working on Training
Level test 1 to successfully compete at First Level and she
has taken First level students to showing Fourth and
working on Prix St. Georges at home.
Jaime is patient and hard working and her dedication
to the happiness and health of both horse and rider
is constant.
She has an innate ability to understand just
what is needed to unlock the potential of both horse
and rider, all the while making it a fun journey for
all involved.
She comes to the barn with happy energy every
day, and her love of horses and the sport itself is
evident in everything she does.
Jaime's
Students:
One
of my passions is my students. I have worked with
most of them for the last 6 years and have been
lucky enough to have them as devoted to me as I am
to them. Many are showing and doing very well,
riding from Training Level up to Prix St. Georges with
scores in the mid 60’s. I also have students that
just ride for fun we set small goals and work on
putting pieces together slowly, while having fun. I
would like you to meet some of my students:
Melissa Reese
Melissa has been with me for the past 3 years. When
Melissa came to me she was working on going to the
year end championships for first Level. Melissa has
a strong desire to work on riding the upper levels
and trying out for the young riders team. Melissa
and i have worked together on bring her and her
horse up the levels. Melissa finished up 2007 by
going to the BLM's and placing 3rd with a
score of 62%. We started 2008 with Melissa coming to
Florida with me for part of the season. Showing her
first Prix St. Georges at the Wellington Classic Dressage
Challenge I, Melissa scored a 64% and came in second.
This summer Melissa is looking forward to working on
her Prix St. Georges and having fun!

Melissa & Wister
Kathryn Reese
Kathryn started riding with me in 2001 before I went
away for more training. At that point Kathryn was
about 6 years old and came with goal – to turn
LEFT! Kathryn shortly learned how to turn left and
even started showing intro, and winning! When I
started my own business Kathryn and I started
working together again. Kathryn and I have been back
together for 3 years now. She is now 16 and just
finished up the 2007 show season riding First Level
at recognized shows with scores in the 60’s and she
came in 5th at the BLM’s. In 2008 we are
thinking about second level.
Donna Payton
Donna is an adult amateur who came to me in 2005
with her Dutch warmblood, Marston. Marston and
Donna had ridden First level and done
well. Donna was looking to move on to Second level.
Donna and I worked out a plan, and worked through
the show season of 2006. In 2007 Donna came out
showing second level and held her own receiving
scores of 59% and 60%. In 2008 we plan on coming
back out at second level and working on feeling
confident in the show ring!

Grace DiNicola
Grace was the first person who came to me when I
started my new business. Grace and Flash were
working on Intro level at some of the local schooling shows. They
received scores in the 70's so Grace and I thought it
would be a good idea to move on to training level.
We took the plunge and Grace started out at some
schooling shows. With scores of 55% we decided
to go home for the winter and school at home. The next
show season Grace was receiving scores in the high
50's and low 60's. This year Grace decided to come
with me to Florida for the season and we are going to
give training level a shot at some of the recognized
shows.
I
also have quite a few students who prefer to stay at
home and are not interested in showing. I enjoy
teaching them as well. Mostly, it is about having fun
while being safe.
