About Us:
~Jaime Topinka Nunn~ As a child
Jaime rode with Lynn Span, working on her seat and
core strength. Lynn encouraged her to ride in Pony
Club, where Jaime became rated to C-3 before
changing her focus to dressage. Jaime went to Morvan Park, VA,
in the summers to ride with Tad Coffin and Raul de Leon, attending an hour-long lecture each day on
different aspects of dressage and eventing. Jaime
found the experience she gained in gymnastics
jumping useful for dressage. During the winter she
continued riding and training a bit with Lynn Span.
Jaime continued to show dressage and have a few
horses competing up to 3rd level, while having her
Prix St.Georges horse at home but not showing him.
At twenty five Jaime decide to become a working
student for Gail Hoff-Carmona. Working for Gail for
2 years, she
gained her experience with young horses, which
included in-hand training, backing, and dressage
training, as well as giving these youngsters their
first show experience. Jaime built on
this experience when she moved on to work for
Michael Barisone, where she trained and showed upper
level horses to Intermediate I. She has been
training with Michael since 2002. Along the way she
has ridden with Bo Jenna, Alex Chterba, Tom Dvorak,
Lars Petersen and Lendon Gray.
Jaime now has a thriving business in Millstone,
NJ. She has taken young horses up to the Prix
St.Georges level, and has taken young riders up to
Intermediate I. She also has many happy clients
who just want to have fun with their horses.
Jaime's Competition Horses:
Ghostbuster:
Owned by Jeannie Santos, Ghostbuster spent
two seasons in Florida with Jaime. Jaime
showed him in the Prix St. Georges and
Intermediate I, scoring up to 68%.

Eden Roc: Eden was bought for Jaime
as a 4 year old. Eden was broke when
Jaime got him, but Jaime has brought him
along and is continuing to bring him up the
levels hopefully to the Grand Prix. As of
now, Eden is 8 coming 9 showing in Florida
at Prix St. Georges and working on
Intermediate I. They will keep us updated on their
progress!

L.A. Baltic Coppelia: Jaime bought
Coppelia as a weanling, imprinting her, breaking her,
taking her to her first shows, and trail riding
her. Jaime taught her how to do lines of three and
four tempi changes, and
was working on canter pirouettes, all by the
time Coppelia was 8 years old.
Jaime took Coppelia out as an 8 year old scoring 68%
at Third Level.

disciplines residing there. From racehorses to
jumpers, dressage to pleasure mounts, all are
welcome. As each horse has specific needs, each
horse has a program designed specifically for them.
From stall rest to 24 hour turn out, special feed or
exercise requirements, they offer top quality
care for each and every horse.

Jaime's
Students:
One
of my passions is my students. I have worked with
most of them for the last 6 years and have been
lucky enough to have them as devoted to me as I am
to them. Many are showing and doing very well,
riding from Training Level up to Prix St. Georges with
scores in the mid 60’s. I also have students that
just ride for fun. We set small goals and work on
putting the pieces together slowly, while having fun. I
would like you to meet some of my students:

Kathryn Reese
Kathryn started riding with me in 2001 before I went
away for more training. At that point Kathryn was
about 10 years old and came with a goal – to turn
LEFT! Kathryn shortly learned how to turn left and
even started showing intro, and winning! When I
started my own business Kathryn and I started
working together again. Kathryn and I have been back
together for 3 years now. Kathryn
finished up the 2007 show season riding First Level
at recognized shows with scores in the 60’s and she
came in 5th at the BLM’s. In 2008 she
successfully showed at Second Level.
Bonnie
Halka
Bonnie
came to me in 2005, brand new to dressage.
In 2008 she was the Region I Training Level
AA Champion and is currently showing at
First Level. Bonnie recently won the First
Level Adult Amateur Challenge at Centerline
HITS on the Hudson in Saugerties, NY, placed
2nd in First Level with scores in the 70's
at the ESDCTA Schooling Show Championships and qualified to ride at First Level at the BLM Championships.

Sam Pinto
Sam
started riding dressage in 2008, and in the
past year she has been concentrating on the
theory of dressage. Her dedication has paid
off and in her first recognized show she
scored a 69% in training level and placed
2nd in her class.
